that's a nice looking track module, looks very sturdy! How much does it weigh and what motors are you powering with it?

These tracks weigh 9.5 lbs for each side. We have powered them with the regular cims as well as the minibike motors. For our final design we are using a 9:1 planetary banebot gearbox with the minibike motor to power the drivetrain.

We worked with 753 in Oregon to design the tracks and we paid for all the materials. Our sponsor Outback Manufacturing http://outbackmfg.com donated the machine time and helped to train the students who ran the machines.

9:1! Wow! I think were using 12:1
