Go to Post We also have a " big daddy" hand riveter. In my estimation one could have assembled the George Washington bridge with it. - DonRotolo [more]

Looks great! I really like the drive system this year, and the arm looks solid. That random wheel at the front kinda confuses me thou, does it help pick up the tubes??? We will see you at GTR!

Looks sweet! Big fan of the colors too What gear boxes are those?

The wheel kicks up the tube into the claw (me thinks)

nice looking robot... I wonder what that wheel in the front does, it looks like it might drop down on the tube and hold it place so the claw can pick it up, or its used to tilt the tube on an angle so its easier to grab. anyways nice looking robot girls... see you at GTR

edit: i like the first logo on that wheel thing on the front

Id say the wheel in the front kicks the tube up so you can grab it easily without extending the arm outside of frame and it also helps you guys get up a steep incline...am i close?

id say that the wheel in the front is just a wheel in the front. (you know... to drive around and stuff.)

The wheel at the front (also called the flip-o-matic) helps us pick up tubes. We drive up to a tube and the wheel turns and it flips the tube into our gripper.

I believe we're currently at just under 5 feet and 100lbs. That'll most likely change at NJ though.
