Our Robot (1529)

our team (1529) working on the Robot the red/yellow/green thing in the middle is called the lollipop because the inventor file looks like a lollipop. So we used the theme allover the robot and painted it various different colors.

I think we'll be the only robot at the Boilermaker Regional with spinning rims. We'll have a display lolly in the pits, too.

I would guess that the arm flops down so that both tabs are in the center of a tube. Then the green and yellow disks spin opposite one another until the tabs are 180* apart, and the tabs push out on the tube from the inside. To release on a spider leg, the arm comes back up and the disks spin back to their starting positions.

Yah thats exactally how it works except the disks spin in the same direction and make it 120* and 240* apart!
