Our autonomous mode seems to work very well this year, and this is a video of one of the successful test runs. Note that there were also many failures. The funniest was probably when i kicked the robot because it wasn't working, and then all of a sudden it executed perfectly. Kinda says something, doesn't it?

very nice... and quick if you could extend the arm while moving the robot you could easily cap in 7 sec... lots of time to go around for a tube pickup at the other end or something of the matter... what all do you use? is it just camera or does it have encoders/gyro to make it quicker?

We cant really move the arm like that while the robot is moving- the arm blocks the camera. so we move it at the beginning, and then move it into its final position when it drives up.
