2007 Bobcat - The Ring Wrangler Picking up Tubes
Named "The Ring Wrangler mk.XIII" after its predecessor from 1997, here is a shot of the 2007 Bobcat picking up a tube.
The end-effector seen here is essentially an improved version of the design we used in 1997, but since we were unhappy with its performance picking up tubes at UTC even after modifications made in fix-it windows following New Jersey, we have a new design worked out for Nationals. Feel free to stop by our pit (on the left of Kamen/Flowers Lane when coming in) to check it out in Atlanta.
