Can it only fit narrow aspect robots? It doesn't look like it would fit wide aspect robots.

Naw. Its made to fit all size robots as long as you abide by the bumper regulations. (If your bumpers are oversized, you can't make it up with the guards)
Takes a bit of finesse to drive up but most drivers have had no problems.

Well - They look OK, but they certainly aren't purple enough.
