This occurred on the Newton field, qualification match 66. The Robotic Knights (49) came across the field during autonomous mode to play defense. This play knocked Team 340's robot away from the spider. However, 340's camera auto-corrected and scored anyway. The entire crowed could not believe what just happened. There is two links below of the video of the match. The first is just the autonomous mode, while the second is the entire match. Enjoy!

Wow, that's very impressive! Goes to show what good programming can do for you!

Myself, and the others on 340's drive team was all excited, because the autonomous was actually working (we had troubles with the camera). We knew 49 was going to play defense, but when they came down the field and turned, it looked like they were going to knock out the tube. The arm raised just in time, and 49's flag actually hit the hockey sticks, which as you can see, knock out their flag. I had a feeling it might auto-correct, when the whole robot got turned but when it actually did, that was amazing. The game announcer goes on to say "Somebody needs to buy those programmers a Coke!"
Great match!

I love the reaction of the person behind the media table in the background.

GRaduns340The reaction was great, and thank you to "Mailman," "Jaso-rees," and the un-nicknamed programmer for getting that autonomous mode to work so well. We still owe you a Coke.

Uberbotsi love the feeling you get when the autonomous actually works... it would have worked a lot more for us if our camera hadnt gotten thrashed in the semifinals...

Doug LeppardAs the head mentor for the auto mode for 1902 I salute you on having a auto mode that corrected so well. I know how hard it is to do something like that.
Was it the camera or gyro that made the correction?
