What else were we going to do with eight left-over cold cathode tubes? They run off 12V so nicely, and all that lexan construction just lets everything shine right through. Add a bit of glow wire to the lift, and it starts to look pretty good. Although this picture was taken in the dark with a timed exposure, the glow shows up pretty good in daylight, too.

I can see it now. One robot glowing bright green followed by a bunch of robots with the camera. All dead set on catching up with the light. Oh, the fun you could have.

That is seriously awesome..
I know we've got a couple laying around (I think we made two auton lights but only actually used one).. green.. hmmm
