My guess is that this machine can take readings at 4" and 12", erasing any ambiguity about lifted robots and taking quite a load off the already hard-working refs.
During intermissions, it can also deliver those glorious Oreo ice cream delights.

WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU NEED ALL THAT PROCESSING POWER FOR??????

If i'm not mistaken... theres three FPGA's on that robot... why? And where do the mysterious ribbon cables go....

Your're correct...

The ribbon cables go to the two cameras in the front, and are also used for interconnects between the three FPGAs.

All I'll say for now is that there are two FALCON systems and a third FPGA for somthing else... I am running a non-released version of the FALCON firmware that has an additional feature.
