I'm not seeing much safety, at least in FIRST spirit, in a demolition derby! Go get em Mark. Not only did we spend hours painting a car that will be all smashed up anyway (hey Travis we need some post derby pics too!), team 379 set up our float for the Girard end of summer parade and all teams packed for the trip to Erie days. See ya there CIA!

I can see some members of the teams hanging onto trashed parts of that Mercury as souveniors.

The hood is going upstairs in my condo.....

Depending upon how he fares, Mark may try to resurrect the car and use it again next year.

He wanted to use a '78 Grand Marquis which is a battlecruiser of the infinite degree, but the powers that be said it was too much car to be permitted. Alas, we would have had even more advertising real estate.

Who was the lucky driver? Someone from your team, or an actual Derby guy? I've always had a thing for destruction derbies..

Not my team (48) - one of our fellow NEOFRA teams - 379. Mark is a Robocat alumnus. He will compete on 8/31. Mark has done this kind of thing before.
