Thank You Celebrate Erie Teams
Team 291 would like to thank all teams who came to our local town festival "Celebrate Erie" on Saturday August 18th, 2007. In addition to our local Pennsylvania teams, CIA (291) and CRT (306), we had joining us members of the Northeast Ohio FIRST Robotics Alliance (NEOFRA)... Delphi Elite (48), the Robocats (379), and the Lightning Bots (2010). From 12PM to 5PM we ran 2v2 matches with a half rack and slightly modified scoring (to account for the half rack). All told we spread the message of FIRST (FRC and FLL) to about 2,000 people. In the picture you can see members of all 5 teams around our rack set up on State Street in Erie, PA.
