Go to Post While [a college FIRST competition] would be pretty fun, I think that you'll see this build season that mentoring is a heck of a lot of fun too. (except when the kids pretend to cut their fingers off to see your reaction) - Beth Sweet [more]

1712 presents: 1712's RCCR VEX Bot

1712 would like to present to you our Rah Cha Cha Ruckus Vex bot!

The bot features our 2 speed "VHS" transmission. (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/29026)

The arm has the capability of holding 6 balls at a time and can score from the opposite side of the high goal.

Look out for this beast at the Ruckus!

Yes it does tip if we bring the arm past that point, but the only reason it would go past vertical is to score from the opposite side of the high goal, which would support the bot.

tis correct little one, tis correct. all this college work has lead me to only a small amount of time to work so far. and all i have done was take apart most of my old robot. it will be done hopefully this weekend when i have a mini break.

i see i have some stiff competition with your "bot"...

What is the white material that you used for the bottom of the "basket"?

That would be 1/16" lexan (polycarbonate) that has not been peeled yet.
