AliviaIs it weird that I want to put posters of professors with gray ponytails up in my college dorm?
...I don't think so!
=)
(For real though...we need to make a line of posters that include things like this! Awesome job!)

RogerHow about "What Would Woodie Woot?" Maybe not totally correct but how often do you get all those "W"s?

technoLI'd so buy a W^4/W^5 poster.
How much and when will they be for sale?
(Great fundraiser if you could create a whole series and find a way to sell them)

This is a great poster, and a really nice acknowledgement to Woodie. Has anyone sent a copy to him yet? I am sure he would be flattered and would think they are funny.
But before anyone starts to seriously think about selling them as a fund raising activity, you might want to get his permission first.

PLEASE put this up on cafe press as a product... i think you'd get a lot of sales!
Well... and i'm sure some people would go for similarly themed coffee mugs too...
I think you may have stumbled on a small naquadah mine...

Perhaps if permission is or isn't granted by Dr. Flowers, Tedrick can let the CD community know and - if yes, if there will be any plans for selling the poster for fundraising purposes.

KathieKAs soon as this appeared a copy went up on my office cubicle wall. I get to explain all the time that these are "my celebrities". And WHY they ARE.
25-10-2007 12:55
Bob SteeleCopies of this photo sprang up across our campus as soon as Tedrick had it finished....
I am having to explain who Woodie is now to the entire staff...
Not a bad proposition....

FourTwoNineZeroPutting it on Cafe Press is s great idea. I think we will look into it and see if we can get Dr. Flowers' approval. This could be a pretty good fundraiser, considering the responses so far. We'll keep you posted.
I'm really interested to see just how far this goes. I just thought it up while I was sitting around one night working on homework.

FourTwoNineZeroGood news: We have Woodie's approval!!!
28-10-2007 00:06
AliviaThat is pretty awesome!
Any details on how to order one?
=)
28-10-2007 00:17
FourTwoNineZeroWe still need the photographer's permission. Then I need to make a larger version of it that will be suitable for a poster (the one I uploaded is full size).
When we have it up and orderable I'll post the information.

The poster is really great! One minor improvement would be to add a grey haired woman in the background (a.k.a. grandmother).

FourTwoNineZeroHello everyone, it's been a while. I received the photographer's permission yesterday. I'm working on making the excessively large versions for the posters and then I'll put them up on Cafe Press. I'll post the information for buying them early next week.
