Wow team overdrive has a pretty impressive robot this year.

How do they plan to keep teams from hitting their microcontroller?

any other pics for this robot?

How did their intake work? To me it looks like a vertical set of treads with zip ties to lift the rings. How do they lift the rings onto the set of treads?

or.. am I totally off?

They were probably practicing. You can't use frequencies when practicing or at all during a comp. Only when you are on the official field.
