 Polycord. It was used in all sorts of ball systems in 2009, and on some of the 2007 claws. It's not too hard to fuse together by hand with some heat and patience. - AustinSchuh [more] |

I have no idea, and I've allegedly been shown the design... But I'm guessing since there are 8 of them they have something to do with the drivetrain.
Looks heavy though. How much do those weigh?
