sdcantrell56Im gonna go ahead and take a good guess that your gripper is some form of suction device.

Xenozerodid you guys try to squeeze it in a tight position, through a door perhaps, ?
18-01-2008 22:01
calvin1631We don not have our gripper fully operational yet and we did not squeeze it. It was something we made using the ball that caused it to balloon. We thought the ball might reform but it is still bulbous from making a _________ form. What fills in the blank? Anyone?

Akash Rastogiwere you making fiberglass molds perhaps? we were considering doing something like that in the beginning.

vivek16yeah, Im going to go ahead and guess vaccuum.

Good way to pop the ball, by using it without the cover.

calvin1631We fiberglassed the ball, just that section. It caused the ball to deform in a strange way.

calvin1631Yes, our robot was completely constructed inside the ball and takes 3 weeks to hatch...which mean since we got it about 2 weeks ago we have 1 week left to wait.
