294's new garolite
We got our new 3/32 garolite sheet from McMaster. We decided to test its machinability. It drills nicely with smaller bits, and dremels well, leaving a fine glass dust. Before you ask, yes, we were wearing respirators and safety glasses. We completely cheesed another 2 inch square and it was still very strong. As the electrical lead of 294, I am quite giddy.
This picture has some Victor fan wires woven through a grid of holes we put in. As it turns out, the holes are the perfect diameter for our small zipties......
