Looks like one side of a drivetrain to me. I guess it could be an arm mast or something, but I'm going to go with drive module.

Not that hard to figure out really. I wonder how much of our robot can be figured out from this picture...

That looks very similar to the plates on an Outback tred module (from what i saw on a few bots last year...)
