Very nice looking machine guys. So I think I see how it works. 4 bar linkage. The bottom of the grabber lifts up when the ball is in the forks. What is the motor at the bottom of the arm for? Does the grabber rotate?

Any video?

Very nice bot. Looks similar to one of our designs we had early on.

Maybe it has to rotate up to fit in its starting configuration.

Correct. It also allows us to pick up the trackball and rotate it back into our robot for carrying around the field and maintain a more manageable CG as we lift to hurdle.

Thanks for the compliments! The team can't wait to get to Milwaukee to have some fun in the sun...er...snow!

Nice Job Sean!

See you in Milwaukee. I hope we get a chance to converse, share notes and continue our talk about Engineering.
