Lil' Lavery
I had a feeling this would show up here as your WAI at some point.
Just remember, it's not how high you can get, but how come down that matters...

Kyle
He's not really jumping, he is just so light there was a small updraft and it took him away..
He might be close to upper orbit by now

W00T! Karthik hovering right by our robot! That is definitely my new desktop background for awhile...

Un LuchadorWow! He really got some air there didn't he??
The characters they pick for commentating are so energetic and fun. Gotta love 'em

He might be demonstrating how 1114's 'bot will hover autonomously in 2009, to score bonus points. If air time has sufficient scoring value, I've gotta believe the Simbots will find a way to make their robot do that. [edit: The Great Gazoo is known to hover frequently.]
More likely we will see Karthik doing this on a Championship field in Atlanta. Maybe not this year, but soon.

Racer26@Richard: Karthik has said he will be sitting in the stands in Atlanta this year. As for the future, I couldn't say.
@Karthik: I've seen you do those jumping introductions at Waterloo and GTR for a few years now... what perfect timing by the camera operator. Never mind that getting such a clear picture while you're moving so fast would be difficult to say the least.

I think this is just about how high Karthik jumped when that final score was revealed...
