I have to say this picture is very impressive. But still I am glad not to witness one of those monsters...
The show must go on, I guess. Fortunately the damage and injuries were limited!

I remember seeing something very similar to this when I lived in Indiana as a pre-teen. It was over farmland and a small town. I stood outside and watched it from a distance - until I was told to find a hallway for shelter. It is even more surreal with the cloud formation(s) over the city.

this almost reminds me of sim city, spent all that time building up a peaceful place, then you sick the monster, and other natural disasters on it...
