On May 13th, the Robowranglers #148 were recognized by the City of Greenville, TX for their outstanding efforts and accomplishments during the 2008 FRC season. Mayor Tom Oliver issued a proclamation to the City Council declaring the team's accomplishments. (Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of that one yet.)
Mayor Oliver also issued a Proclamation in recognition of our Team Leader and lead engineer, John V-Neun, for winning the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award at the Bayou Regional this year. This was a surprise to our team and a touching gesture for the City Council to recognize him in this way.

I believe we all know what a great asset John is to FIRST and his team. I know as an individual, I have been inspired on many of my designs just by looking at his; not to mention he is the one who motivated me to get my hands dirty with cad. This is very deserving, congratulations John. =)

The very small print between "Proclamation" and "JVN" really just says "I am".
The part between "JVN" and the mayor's signature is irrelevant.

Only kidding. Congrats, JVN. What an honor.
