I think anyone who has talked to me since the close of the 08' season will know exactly what this means.
Isn't Copley Square beautiful in the summer?

I walk by this all the time and have thought about doing similar things...good job andy.

vivek16I do not get it...
Would someone care to elaborate? What is so special about the turtle?
I get the copley square thing but c'mon, theres no need to physically assault turtles.

Hmmm....
Remind me never to mess with NERDS.
In NYC we only play "Kick the Can."

I sort of feel bad for the group of people behind Andy in this photo, they're going to get a picture with a random failing arm behind them

As it is, you'll have some out-of-towners looking at their pictures and, well, wondering what that man is doing. Maybe it's a local Boston thing.

Just be careful you don't kick the turtle too hard and hurt your foot. You will be needing it in the future.

Bob SteeleSheesh... I guess I was wrong.
I always thought the turtle rhymed with hurdle... hence the game clue for 2008

tim_reiherAnybody notice how this image and thread is about scorning obscure game hints? Now look what it has become! Just further proof that Mr. Lavery can strike anywhere, and at anytime.
On another note, I think that a Mario bros. game would be pretty cool. Gotta start coming up with ideas for shell-collecting devices. Also, does this mean we'll have to make robots that jump?

Dave Lavery, I swear that you will drive us all insane some day with those EVIL little dots...
And you've all got it wrong; we won't be using trained dolphins, or trained clownfish...we'll be using trained Narwhals
(Yeah, I really don't know where the narwhals thing came from. I guess I've gone a little crazy after sitting in front of 3 computer screens for 3 hours trying to make next year's website work
)

. But it might be hard to avoid damage of field elements, with those horns. I don't think that the field crews will want to have to replace all the game pieces between every match... unless Dave somehow factored this into his ingenious plan...
What is this "non-robotics life" of which you speak?

18-06-2008 11:45
sgrecoIf there was a water game...
968: The RAWC would sink
45: TechnoKats, cats hate water
191: X-cats, cats hate water
108: SigmaC@t, same as above
1094: Channel Cats, same
177: Bobcat Robotics, gee, I didn't realize this many teams had cat in their name
222: Tigertrons, tigers are cats
330: Beachbots, Obviously they'd win
359: The Hawaiin Kids, they live on the ocean
294: BCR, Possible alliance with 330
111: Wildstang, can horses swim?
1157: The Boulder Bots, they'd sink faster than 968!
1902: Exploding Bacon, combustion can't happen under water. or can it?
1114: I don't know what Simbots do in water but they would definitely win at least 2 regionals
217: ThunderChickens, water does conduct electricity
174: Arctic Warriors, Ice game maybe?
1717: D'Penguineers, They'd like ice
1305, Ice Cubed, again more ice
374: The IceBreakers, looks like they'd ruin the ice party
121: Rhode Warriors, well...they're from the ocean state
702: Bagel Bytes, does anyone like soggy bagels?
118: Robonauts, Space ships used to land in the ocean
2194: Fondy Fire, fire doesn't work in water
744: Shark Attack, the name says it all
