I really like the banner hanging in the back, there.

This is a fantastic opportunity. How did your team get into this?

It's only a matter of time before Miss Daisy wins the Championship Chairman's Award.

BAE Systems asked us based on several experiences we have had in the past few years.
We produced a large 3 day FIRST show for NBC affiliates in Philly and DC for about five years. We also did several overseas FRC presentations in Singapore.

We shared those experiences with the UK planning comittee and the participating teams.

This is certainly not something that you can do on your own. We were invited to join forces with BAE Systems, Exscitec, the ThunderChickens, and the UK teams to pull this event together on a very short timetable. Partnership was the key to making this work.

I am hoping that we will see some posts from the other project team members in the next few days. I would love to hear their perspective on the event.

No Taxation without Representation!

Now that that is out of the way... Excellent work getting the message of first out to your local government officials. You never know when a simple demonstration might open up the door to something wonderful.

Maybe a 2006 style shootout would be a great debate settler.
