Go to Post I said it was called FIRST Robotics and the coolest thing I'd seen that day was a 150lb robot balance with another one on a teeter-tooter and and then score basketballs from 30 feet away. - Siri [more]

team 2996 cad .... is it legal?

We had some questions about the bumpers; the front extension may not be considered the "bumper perimeter" but it is a corner (though its inside) we where wondering if it needed to be covered.

As long as the wood segment on all of those is 6 inches long, looks legal. The corners are not on the bumper perimiter, and need not be covered, as there is no way that this corner will contact the wall.

Thank you!!! That saved us some time, and now we understand.
Thanks again!

I wouldn't want to say it is or it isn't without knowing all the details, but if you are asking if the interior segments have to have additional bumbers, the answer is 'no' only the exterior segments of the bumper perimeter must have bumpers.

I would encourage you to check out Team Update #2 for specifics, which I believe should answer your question. If you have any additional questions, check out Team Update #8.
