...and here's the finished parts, at the end of week 1.
We know you've all seen these before and probably don't think this is much of a teaser, but boy, there sure are a lot of them, aren't there?

If there are two types of them (double flange and single flange), then I count 38 doubles and 25 singles.
If they are all singles and some are just kind of stacked in each other, then I count 101...
Dang.

CaioYou were right. There are two types. But it's not double flanged or flanged. They make a square cut out in the chassis, and though the pieces are circular, they have a small square section just beyond the flange for the chassis. However, there are some that don't have it, which means they aren't being tensioned, and aren't being used for the drive. There are 76 with the square, so enough for 6 robot drives (lol) and the rest aren't.
Sooo, I'm assuming roller bearing blocks.

ComradeNikolaiThese are really just non-functional decorations. By adding flowers onto their robot, the Cheesy Poofs plan on making all the other teams underestimate them.

waialua359Cory,
Sorry, I just cant keep quiet anymore.
They are collaborating with more teams, hence, more bearing blocks.
We are one of them.
Now that we have CNC capability, they send us blueprints with specs, and we build the same thing.

Or did I just dream about it?

The single sided ones are the same as always-they're used in the drivetrain.

EricVicentiSlightly off topic, but we went to Allan Steel and Supply Co. this past week to pick up some aluminum. Allan told us how some team from San Jose who started with a c had come in and bought $5000 worth of aluminum. Cory, you must be machining your heart out right now.
