It's good to see that the inventor team is still on top of things. Great job guys!
And it was great seeing the real thing run on Monday. Can't wait to see you all at BMR!

Chris FultzThis is the Inventor version of or 2009 robot "R2".
The real version looks very much the same, except that it has lexan side panels for logos and protection.
4 wheel drive, through 1 CIM and 1 AndyMark GEM500 Planetary on each side.
2 CIMs power the roller system, one for the front / hopper floor and one for the back.
The hopper floor stays in motion to keep the balls agitated, two pneumatic cylinders open the front panel door when we are ready to score.
Two ultrasonic sensors tell the pilots when we are close to scoring position and then when we are on, through flashing LEDs on the driver panel.
All belts are 3/16" urethane, running on PVC rollers.
Top load or floor pick-up.

The robot is mostly black. All the metal is black. The rollers are blue and we have grade 8 (gold) bolts. Looks totally sick in real life as well as CAD!!!!!
