A two-stage folded conveyor design using pool noodles and surgical tubing (it works).
We spent two days doing driver practice and autonomous testing, and can score a full load of balls using only the camera. We'll be at Portland and Seattle.

sciencenerdAs part of our withholding allowance, we're planning on making some new rollers that replace the multicolored pool noodles (whatever we had around) with purple pool noodles. Painting the roof purple on Thursday has been discussed as well.

2642 boss mani hope u guys have a lot of extra medical tubing...we have a conveyor belt with 4 bands of that and have had some problems....you guys have a lot of medical tubing....good luck

2642 boss manwell not really much of a problem but one of them came apart a couple times so right before we put it in the crate we threw some glue on it....how did u guys hold them together??

engunneerThe other cool feature is all the recycled materials on the bot. All the polycarbonate used to be window protectors recovered from a school building demolition. The 1/4" aluminum was surplus aircraft material.
