Go to Post Diversity means diversity in ideas too. Some of the robots from the singapore competition might have employed strategies or ideas that we may not even have come up with in North America. - J Flex 188 [more]

Very nice looking robot! I had to laugh though when I saw the bumpers on your trailer. Nice contrast...why waste time making them look pretty. You gotta love zip ties!

Very nice. Saw a similar design at the scrimmage last week. I do like the zip ties on the trailer, btw. Personally, we used duct tape, but that's just us

You might have to change to the zip-tie bandits.

But in alll seriousness, that robot looks pretty good. Especially the frame.

So where is the duct tape? I don't see a single piece...

The front roller uses tape to keep the soft material on it, which of course is not visible in this picture. We are also using duct tape to display our numbers on the bumpers, which again are not visible in this picture.

Trust me, we made sure to use duct tape this year.

EDIT: Duh, you can see the blue duct tape on the ends of the front roller.
