2039's '09 drivers station

A member on our team as well as his Dad designed and created this whole set up. Worked quite well, and it looks sharp, although it could be a little heavy!

What information did your laptop display?

I also am very curious on how you transmit all the information back. Pin outs on the DS, read by your own custom software?

We used the Laptop to show the status of our 4 photoeye sensors and our dedicated empty cell mode. It would also display the voltage of our battery. The Application was created in labview.

The Driver Station would relay the information to the laptop through the same ethernet cord used for uploading code. If you'd like specifics on how we relayed the info back, I can look into that as well.

I like showing off....hehehe, I wish we had done it this year since we have a faster response from the camera and the cRIO

Student designed, fabricated and built. Laptop was donated by a mentor. PS. The thing is super heavy, my least favorite to use for demo's b/c we have to carry it around..lol Then again, we go a bit over the top with our controller box
