I love the nano

Quick sketch I wanted to do because I like the new toughbox nano from AM. The gussets are a little unnecessary and the pocketing probably is too. v.1 Everything is 1/8" wall except the front. Yes it would be a relatively weak drivetrain(unless its something like Lunacy).

Do you have the nano gear boxes mounted directly to the chassis, I can't really tell from the picture.

Nice model. I would question the need for such a substantial outer frame member though, if bumpers were still part of the game.

Alright so the little story behind this is that it started out as a 3x1" tubing version of a West Coast frame for a class project so that I could easily mount the toughbox nano (for 2x1" I'll need a bit larger plate to mount the gb). Once I finished the west coast frame I honestly just got bored and felt like adding on more "stuff." I just got really bored. So yea- originally a 3"x1" tubing west coast frame for the toughbox nano without siderails and all. That's why the guessets are there too actually, they're left over from the west coast frame.

Nice model akash.

I would be interested to see how that kind of drive setup would perform in terms of maneuverability. Not sure if the center is dropped on that guy. If so, then chances are your back wheels will rarely touch the ground. Problem here being the front and middle wheels are so far apart you could start experiencing some significant fighting/bouncing as the drive base turned in place.

If the wheels are not dropped, I am even more unsure of how the system would react. Could be interesting....

Looks great so far though. Keep it up.

Thanks Brandon. I have to close some of the distance between the front and the center. and then I have to see which I want to drop or raise the front one.
