Dorton Arena - NC Regional Venue
The Dorton Arena, on the North Carolina State Fairgrounds at the NC State University, has to be one of the most unique and interesting regional venues I've ever been to. If you can get past the blazing sunshine drenching us through the windows in the morning, it's a really cool place, letting the outside in while competing.
For those of you familiar with the old Canada's Wonderland amphitheatre, the vibe is very similar.
The North Carolina regional staff and volunteers have to be commended for staging what was a very smooth and successful event.
