Fun with the FIRST Logo

A first attempt at carving the FIRST logo. It looked really odd if I carved the full triangle and square. It still looks pretty odd with just the shadows carved, but you can definitely tell what it is.

Maybe you should try it with the full face of the triangle and square carved, and then the shadows of the circle.
(like on the championship after-party wristbands)

Also, was this done by hand? If so, very excellent work!

Good idea! I bet that would look pretty good, I'll try it later tonight.

I can't take credit for carving it by hand, it was carved by the CNC router (2nd picture down) my dad built before he got into FIRST.
