221 Robotic Systems Swerve Demo Bot

A low angle shot of the steering setup on our demo robot. The steering chains are tensioned with custom cam rollers.

A continuous rotation pot is linked to the steering motor with a helical beam coupling to eliminate backlash and take care of any misalignment.

How are the modules connected to the chassis? Is there a bearing or something inside the metal block holding the module?

Is the demo bot controlled by an arduino?

Each Revolution module has a bushing mount that is designed to be clamped in place. It's hidden beneath the clamp pictured.

See our product page for drawings and models. We now also offer a more standard plate style mounting solution for this product. Thanks for the interest.

Yes, this bot has a wifi control system that uses Arduinos for communication and processing.
