GGCOWhoa. Definitely confirms all the train related conspiracy theories.

Navid ShafaAfter the game hint came out, I was inspired to do more research and to hear what others had to say. This picture only reinforces my Theory, which I shall summarize and ask for critiques on:
After the Delphi pack mirrored the game hint image and reverse-image searched it, the person in question came about. I think it would be a fair assumption that the person in the image is Eva Boyd (AKA Little EVA). She was a singer, and a fairly good one at that! One of her hit songs turned out to be "The Loco-Motion".
This conspicuous and apparently non-related picture includes a Mr. Dave Lavery. We all know that Dave, being the conspirator he is, has a hand in much of this mischief. Odds are (In my probably incorrect opinion) that these two instances of trains and or Loco-Motion leads us down a path, or shall I say a rail-road, which will in turn bring us to kickoff
23-12-2010 01:37
MattC9Was this recently taken? When Dave knew the game? If yes we will be seeing a train game if no, Jan. 8th can't come sooner.
23-12-2010 01:39
Chris is me
23-12-2010 01:45
MattC9Did he know of the game during that picture? (correction lessen to what I mean not what I say)
23-12-2010 08:22
ProgramLukeOr he could just be messing with us...

DiscoKittyPrimeYay, another red herring for them to mess with us, or is this supposed to be another hint that they won't admit to? Either way, I am going to be over-analyzing this just as I did with the last picture. Now I have something to do on the 8 hours of driving I have left today.

Dave is wearing what appears to be a Lynyrd Skynyrd t-shirt...I'm sure he intended this to mean something. I think I'll go grab a plate of mashed potatoes and try to figure it all out now.
Also, what is written on that piece of paper Chris is holding? Probably the password to the encrypted game rules.

I noticed them as well...
Also, I bet Dave had a series of pictures setup so based on what we started guessing on, then that's what he would post... Oh I'm on to you.... |

mrmummertAnother locomotive....next to dave's picture....seems to be a 2-10-0
decapod type. Hard to tell from such a small picture. Might be one of the former mid western roads (Frisco,IC, MP,
Katy, etc.)Yes I'm a train nut.

Not to get anyone's goat, but it is done for the shear joy of spinning a good yarn. And if we can yak about fleecing JVN out of a few good ideas at the same time, then it is worth ramming through the discussion before hoofing it out of here.

He is working on it. It's rendering.
Which explains why he's acting like a programmer whose code is compiling...

Are JayWell... Chris is also trying to push the train... Perhaps there is some sort of game element in which the teams will have to push?

mrmummertPretty Close.
I think the locomotive in the Background is a Frisco 4-8-4 of the 4500 series, number 4501. Bell, hand rails, and headlight match.
The foreground locomotive has to be one of the monster 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy"s of the Union Pacific, number 4018. You can tell by the coupler door and louvers in the nose.
If my locomotive sleuthing is correct, then this picture was taken at the Museum of the American Railroad in Dallas Texas.
Just a wild guess, I'm a narrow gauge train nut. Give me big mountains and small locomotives.

Hi.... No I mean the picture next to dave's signature picture. thats no 4-8-4
in the picture....then again I'm a Pennsy nut ,closest thing they had to that was the T-1.
BTW....who took the thread picture? and note Dave has a camera.
25-12-2010 21:51
Hadi379Trains, Stairs, and Poles, but what about the Traffic Cones in the picture? I see two, and I've always thought they could be a game piece. A traffic cone from my perspective represents a circle (top view), triangle (side view) and a square (at the base).
As far as how they would be used? I have no clue, just pointing them out.

I am very afraid!
Has anyone read his FIRST wiki any time soon? http://www.firstwiki.net/index.php/Dave_Lavery Despite the fact that it was last edited in December of 2006, some of the things are interesting. In fact, I did not know that he was taken away by aliens at the VCU regional in 2005! ![]() |

A question that has nothing to do with any hints... Is that the train museum in Roanoke, VA? Just wondering. |
