That's an A(ish) frame. I'd say it's for some tube manipulator. I'm guessing from the surroundings, mainly the door behind it, that it can reach the top rack?

They are two of the same part! Thanks, we've found a new sponsor who has been helping us weld the robot this year, so our welds are nice and we can finally weld aluminum.
And yes, with our manipulator lengths we can reach the top racks to score!
