Barbie, ready to drive
We cast an aluminum plug onto some half-inch hex steel, then machined a perfect fit for the Barbie-car gearbox power take-off. There is a bronze bushing inside supporting the tail of the shaft, retained outside the plastic housing by a collar. (see rear view next photo)
