First of all great looking robot, its makes me proud to be an alumni.

Second can you post some specs on the drivetrain and the arm (which looks really familiar, but I cant place where it is from )

Can't wait to see it compete in person at Florida

Happy to see you got everything together looks like a great bot. A few days ago Lauren says, "Our robot this year is probably the nicest looking one we've had. It honestly looks like a Krunch bot."

Also, minibot???

Drivetrain:
-Drive: 4 wheels powered independently (4 CIMple Boxes 1 CIM each) robots top speed is just over 12 feet per second.
-Module Rotation: BaneBots RS-550 motors (one front, one rear) with a P60 gearbox (64:1) and a 3:1 reduction via chain. Modules can rotate 1.17 RPS

Ladder:
yes the ladder is very similar to Jacob's ladder, but this one uses 2 window motors and spectra cable. the ladder and the carriage both travel at the same time, allowing us to get 2 inches of elevation for every one inch that we rotate our cable. Erik designed it and I have been consumed by drivetrain and can't really elaborate much more than that.

Uh oh, Krunch Krab! I think the 2003 Krab was my favorite. I loved how it looked like it was flexing it's muscles at the top of the ramp, and smashed the bins going under the pipe... heh. lookin good, where's the videos?!?!

As Aaron said it uses two window motors, also I have fixed the binding issue and our ladder can make it to the top in about 2-2.5 seconds.

The manipulator itself that picks up the tubes is very similar to Krunch 10; however the fingers are curved to negate the need for a kicker. I also uses the shelf liner that was used on Krunch 12's rollers for the fingers to grip the tubes.
