We were swarmed by many more of these birds, they were landing on our heads as we walked along and the trees surrounding us were packed with koalas.
A handful of bird seed helped...

If there were about 600 more of them, and 500 of those sitting on his head, I'd say it was at Currumbin Sanctuary.
