The True Reasoning Behind The 2011 Size Requirements
We took a bus with a wheel chair elevator to a demonstration today, and discovered that the robot fit exactly inside the rectangle with the bumpers on.
I believe we discovered the true reasoning behind the size requirements, along with being able to fit through doorways.

For this reason too, its good to have your cart designed to carry your robot through doorways also. You may not see the need at competition, but you never know if you need to get some where for a outreach event.
