Sheet 6WD Chassis

6 in plactions with 1/8 in center drop. #25 chain is used to drive the outer wheels. Tensioning achieved with exact center-to-center distance. Default Supershifters give everything power.
All of the sheet metal is 1/16" 6061-T6, using a similar construction method as the chassis 1983 recently posted.
Total weight is about 40 pounds, not including the battery and bumpers.
Thank you to 1983 for showing me that using sheet metal is viable even without experienced brake operators.
As always, feedback is appreciated.

Looks pretty good, but consider a different material. You can't bend 6061 with a T6 temper like that without it snapping. Teams usually use 5052 for a design like this, but do some research, it's not the only option.

This design does not actually use bent flanges, hence why 6061 is used. Perhaps I should have made that more clear in the description.

As for the model, I was planning on sending it to Matt over at FRC Designs. Check over there sometime in the next couple of days if you want to look it over.
