Team 1510/2898 Chassis/Superstructure Frame

This is our 2 chassis, with our the frame for our superstructure mounted on 1 and ready to be mounted on the other. This is a record for how quick we have this completed.

6WD. those things going out the side are bumper supports. Wheels go at each end and the center. Because all gaps are less then 8 inches they are legal

What made you decide to use only one fastener on each leg of the superstructure? How close to square is it when forces are applied from the sides?

We used 1 bolt because thats all we could fit well with 1x1 extrusion. Since this picture was taken alot of extra support has been added. students can sit on top and it supports very well.
