Students in our school's Grade 11 Technological Design class designed and fabricated a half-scale robot that was capable of achieving our Rebound Rumble strategic goals. Not all students in the class are on the FRC team, and did this as part of their course curriculum.

safetycap'n111Looks great! Is there any video of this? It would be really cool to see.

Mr. Lim
Unfortunately, I don't have any video of the robot in action. Rumour has it that students have some video floating around YouTube/Facebook.
I have no idea where to find it though.

Are those FLL trophies in the background that I see? Very cool robot. How effective was the driving, ball collection, and shooting. I would love to see some video. Is the robot still intact?

. Although the robot was not quite a half scale twin of our competition, it was able to prove that a lot of our design ideas would work well together. At the beginning of the season, the FRC team was divided into groups that made prototypes of different components of our robot. All of the prototypes were separate pieces and we weren't exactly sure how they would function together. So the tech design class was able to take some of our better prototype ideas and find a way to make them properly interact together. Building this robot proved to be quite a useful exercise for both the tech design class as well as the FRC team. The robot is no longer together because some of the components needed to be recycled for other VEX projects.
