Good luck this season!

Sean RaiaI really like this. Probably has to do with the fact that much of the upper mech. is similar to our bot. Good luck!

Very nice looking robot, can't wait for you to come visit Houston.
A couple questions,
Is that a FP motor in the gearbox driving your torrent?
Also does the PG71 on your hood drive a rack and pinion setup or something else?

Bob SteeleNice looking robot Glenn!!
We hope to see you in St. Louis!!
If any of the other teams from Hawaii (2437, 2443, 2439) need anything in Portland point them our way. We will be happy to help.

waialua359Bob,
thanks for the offer......we will forward the message to the other HI teams.
Allen,
For our robot, we dont have a PG71 for the aperture of the shooter.
Its actually a P60 Banebot 256:1 transmission with a 550.
The rack and pinion is not laser-cut into the curved aluminum. However, we hope to have that capability by next school year.
Its the same 25 chain setup being driven by a pinion gear as our turret, that does use the FP motor/plastic gearbox setup.
