The amount of sense this rule makes is irrelevant. It is still the rule, and breaking this rule violates something that i'm sure all of you have heard of. Does gracious professionalism ring a bell?

FRC Team 167's 2012 entry. Videos of testing and practice can be seen at http://www.icrobotics.org/media. By the end of practice ship day our drivers could shoot about 75% for the 2 point hoop from the key back to halfcourt range. 3 point shooting was closer to 40% but we discovered a broken encoder cable before bagging that threw off our shooter feedback.
-119 lbs with additional lexan for covering top of robot
-About 3 feet max height
-4 CIM mecanum drive
-Conveyor roller intake system (initially designed for 1 side pickup, can intake balls from all 4 sides)
-Vertical shooter powered by 2 fisher price motors with encoder feedback
-Self-deploying wedge for bridge tipping (stored in picture)
-Camera provides live feed back to drivers for aiming assistance
-IR rangefinders provide distance to hoop backboard and fender (max 20 feet)
See everyone at Milwaukee and hopefully St. Louis!
