Thoughts:
*We had the most traffic in 2009? people must have really been trying to figure out that moonfish hint, and then spent a LOT of time discussing how to handle a game without traction.
*The #1 city on Chiefdelphi is Seattle? I know there are two regionals there, but that is completely unexpected. When comparing the graph with the greatest density of teams, I would have thought for sure a North East city would be #1.
*2011 and 2012 don't have the same drop-off in traffic before second quarter.

Chris Fultzit is interesting how the "season" of CD is getting longer ...

mikematThe trends for "First Robotics" shows similar patterns with the kickoff spikes, but the later spikes (regionals and CMP) happening more consistently than the "Chief Delphi" charts since 2005. Also, on "First Robotics", although the total search volume is increasing, the initial spike around kickoff is decreasing. Perhaps because of more people using Chief and Youtube to get kickoff info?

KevinGoneNutsI'm surprised that San Francisco is number 2 on the cities list, considering there is only one FRC team in SF. I assume it's just regional so it accounts for all of the bay area.

dcarrAren't these search queries, and not actual site visits?
Seems to me most visitors to Chief Delphi probably type in the URL directly or have it bookmark, making this data useful but not conclusive.

1986titansI looked through the statistic pages linked above and figured out why Seattle is the #1 city: MSN (Bing now, I guess) crawlers.
They account for 7 of the top 10 IPs accessing Chief Delphi, and quite a few more of the top spots once you expand that list. They either trace back to Redmond or "unknown".

PeckLooking at the varius things that bring up CD in searching, I'm a little scared. "the opposite of loneliness" is the third highest search that give CD for this month.

Jon StratisIt's gratifying to discover that Minnesota ranks second in the US for the past 12 months, but we're only 10th for all years. We've got a ways to climb still, but with 150+ teams and 4 regionals next year, we'll get there
