I need help getting a shell in CAD to connect the end of this tube and the midair circle.

Chinmayhave you tried a loft between the circular sketch and a sketch on the end of your tube? depending on how you want to do this, you can either make the "midair circle" 2 concentric midair circles with the desired thickness of the shell, or you can loft the part and then shell the feature you created. hint: the first way is easier.
alternate methods: you can draw the profile from the side view and revolve it around an axis through the center of your tube.
you can extrude the circle you currently and choose to extrude it at an angle... solidworks has an option called taper or something and im sure inventor has a similar feature. Basically, there are several ways, but the first will probably be the easiest.

Redo91Have you tried drawing the entire part, then making a shell of that?
Can I ask what you are trying to make?

daniel_dsouzaloft will work, then just shell the whole thing.
keep your cuts close, and your lofts even closer.

First, you have to loft (using the join option) the outer rim of the face of the cylinder adjacent to the circle to the circle. Then, you have to draw the inner rim of the mouth of the funnel on that circle, then loft it (using the cut option) to the inner rim of the face of the cylinder you previously lofted from (which requires selecting the sketch by navigating to it in the sidebar).
The much easier way would be to create a midplane of the cylinder parallel to the Y-Z plane, use that to sketch the cross-section of the funnel, then revolve it around the cylinder's central axis.

Paul CopioliYep. Make a revolve with the entire profile, then shell it afterwords. Much faster, much easier to change later.
