We soon realized this... and plan on moving the router else where.

Also thanks to FRC 1538 for the broaching!

Oh man, is that an encoder?

We've been struggling to find a way to incorporate some sort feedback into our designs, but this is nice.

There is an encoder mount on the other end of the belt, but we pretty much have a shaft with tapped end and then a screw on shaft (think bolt with no head) that goes into a KOP encoder (1/4) which is held in position with some stand offs.
