Are you sure you're allowed to have the digital module in the 3rd slot in that cRIO? It's a minor thing, but I think it needs to be in the 2nd slot.

I know it says something about the analog module has to be in slot one but i havent read anything on where the digital module has to be.

Oh my gosh that wiring job looks awesome!
I see you guys are paying attention to the new wireless bridge wiring rules.
If you don't know if the modules are good, just scan the CRIO with the reimaging tool and it will tell you.

We did scan them tonight and everything checked out ok. I didnt think we did anything wrong but it doesnt hurt to have another set of eyes looking to see if there anything wrong. We try to read all the rules. Thank you the electronics team work really hard on that. We had a senior student and 2 newbies do that today.

I'm impressed to say the least. Any electrical team that can come close to this level of organization and compactness has much to be proud of. I tip my imaginary hat to your team. Hopefully our team can do as well or better than this, though the bar has been set high.

The FPGA will not recognize anything but an analog module in Slot 1, a digital module in Slot 2, and a Solenoid module in Slot 3.

If you have a 4-slot cRIO, there can be any type of module or no module at all in slot 4.

If you have an 8-slot cRIO and you want an extra module of any type, an extra analog module has to go into slot 5, an extra digital module has to go in slot 6 and an extra solenoid module has to go in slot 7.

Other than the Digital/Pneumatic module mix up, its lookin' really good!

Nice neat job guys. I'm a smige worried the side car is too close for the 6Ga wires to the PD, but hopefully you can make it work.

Just wondering but if one of your breakers pop, wont having both wires from one Talon/Victor sitting sde by side make 2 Talons/Victors lose power?

It looks really close but it was all put in solidworks and design for just enough room for all the wires to be run like that.

We haven't had that issue come up yet. We ran talons/Jags like this for off season/demos though out the summer and leading up to the season and never had that issue.

I would just be wary because the breakers on the PD Board are setup so that red and black opposite of each other are on the same breaker and if it pops, 2 would go down instead of just one.

Thank you for your concern. We will keep a close eye for that and fix it if the problem comes up.

How are the Talons working out compared to the Jaguars and the Victors?

They are working pretty good for us right now. We done most of our testing and they seem to work really good just for driving around and shooting. Our next testing will be to put it though some pushing matches with our other robots and see how they handle. It will give us a good idea as our practice bot uses jags and our competition bot is using talons.

I don't understand what you're saying here.

The Power Distribution Board is intended to be wired so that the red/power and black/return terminals for each breaker-protected branch circuit are adjacent, not opposite. Regardless, all of the black terminals are connected directly to the (-) battery terminal, and the breaker only interrupts current to the red terminal.
