Go to Post Although I have much yet to go, in my short time in FIRST I have learned there is no such thing as a waste of time, especially when a) fundraising, b) mentoring students, or c) reading directions. - Amanda Morrison [more]

4143 late night climber testing after a long weekend. Starting on Saturday our students machined and welded a completely new climber system. It's bagged now. Can't wait to let the Mantis out.

Looking good, guys! Gotta dig the mantis design theme as it's very appropriate. Can't wait to see the full thing in action in Wisconsin.

Oh, and I'm loving those clips...for some reason I feel I've seen them somewhere before, but can't quite put my finger on it. Eh, prolly just my imagination.

Best of luck, guys!

Very impressive guys. One of the quickest 30pt climbers I've seen so far, according to the video.

Best of luck at the competitions!

Maybe we'll get lucky and be next to you in the pit again this year, I want to look at that climber up close.

Where is your weight at? From the video it looks like you have room to add mechanisms still at competition.

That picture doesn't have all the subassemblies in place, so don't draw a weight conclusion from it. It made for a better picture, although I don't think it was intentional. We simply hadn't gotten them all on yet.
